Black Stars defender Edwin Gyimah has been involved in a near fatal accident in Obuasi.
According to Head of Ultimate Sports Fentuo Tahiru , the Orlando Pirates defender after the crash refused medical attention and rather asked to be taken home in a cab even though he was injured.
Other survivors he indicated are receiving treatment including a lady who was his traveling companion in the passenger’s seat and is said to be in critical condition after injuring her head and was rushed to the AGA hospital where she is currently receiving stitches to her forehead injuries.
Details of what actually caused the life threatening accidents are sketchy.
